What is the list of impairments that Social Security considers disabling?

There is a list of impairments that social security considers disabling. The Social Security Administration has gone through many different types of physical and mental limitations and codified them in the Code of Federal Regulations that if you have a certain condition you have to find it under the certain code section and if you meet the certain criteria in the code section you will be found disabled based on those criteria. It’s very difficult to meet those types of criteria so a lot of times these cases end up going towards the different steps to whether or not you can work in the economy or whether or not you can do your past work.

We focus our practice on handling Social Security Disability (SSD), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Veterans’ disability claims for individuals and families in the Northeast Ohio region.

We are passionate about our work, and our firm has helped thousands upon thousands of people since it first opened.

We can help you, too. For a free consultation, send us an e-mail or call 877-230-5500.
