Is my doctor’s opinion important in proving my Social Security disability case?

Even though your doctor says you are disabled the ultimate determination of whether you are disabled is left up to the Social Security Disability Administration. Your doctor’s opinion, however; is instrumental in proving your case.  We encourage all people that are seeing doctors to get an opinion from their doctor about what they can and can’t do that would translate into certain types of work-related restrictions.

Can You Perform Any of Your Previous Work?

Are you still able to perform some or all of the work you performed within the last 15 years? This can make a big difference in your Social Security Disability case.
