How many months should I expect to wait during the Social Security appeals process?

The social security disability appeals process is typically quite lengthy to get a decision after the initial application. It usually takes around six months after that and is in a stage called reconsideration. In that stage you usually have a decision in about three months after you put in a request for a hearing and that can take up to 24 months. Many law firms including our law firm have a nice time line for each stage on their websites.

We focus our practice on handling Social Security Disability (SSD), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Veterans’ disability claims for individuals and families in the Northeast Ohio region.

We are passionate about our work, and our firm has helped thousands upon thousands of people since it first opened.

We can help you, too. For a free consultation, send us an e-mail or call 877-230-5500.
