How is the attorney compensated in a Social Security disability case?
Attorney compensation will come out of the back payment of benefits. In most cases when someone is granted disability benefits, they’re entitled to a back payment. The federal government has set attorney fees of twenty-five percent of that back payment or six thousand dollars whichever is less.
We focus our practice on handling Social Security Disability (SSD), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Veterans’ disability claims for individuals and families in the Northeast Ohio region.
We are passionate about our work, and our firm has helped thousands upon thousands of people since it first opened.
